This pathway exists because many men were never taught how to feel, repair, or take accountability without shame—and harm continues when support is absent. Much of the men’s work at Moving Rasa centers Southeast Asian men, grounded in cultural memory, diaspora experience, and place-based practice.

We also facilitate spaces with Pacific Islander men and other men of color, often through partnerships and culturally specific invitations.

While this pathway is open, the work itself is shaped by who is in the room and the lineages they carry.

Men’s Pathway

(optional alternate titles below)

This Path Exists Because…

All Moving Rasa offerings are grounded in consent, relational awareness, and survivor-informed practice.

This pathway exists for moments when men need focused spaces to unlearn harm, deepen emotional capacity, and practice accountability—together.

Field notes

Active Programming

Pacific Islander Men’s Retreat — Guam

A retreat for Pacific Islander men rooted in movement, cultural reflection, and collective care. This gathering created space for men to explore masculinity, responsibility, and belonging within a shared cultural and geographic context.

Brotherhood in Motion

A movement-based series combining martial arts, Moving Rasa practices, and guided reflection on masculinity.

Brotherhood in Motion explored how discipline, physicality, and relational awareness can support men in building integrity, emotional range, and community accountability.

These offerings are created with intention and arise through relationships, resourcing, and community invitation.

Working in Partnership

Men’s pathway work at Moving Rasa has grown through collaboration with organizations and community leaders committed to dismantling harm and supporting healthier expressions of masculinity.

Partnerships—such as the ongoing work with Man Forward—inform how men’s spaces are held, shaped, and sustained. We continue to pursue relationships that allow this work to deepen with care and shared responsibility.
