Our Collective Stance Against Sexual Violence and Misogyny

A statement from Southeast Asian Mindful MoveMENt

As Southeast Asian men, we recognize that the cultures we create among ourselves have consequences beyond our gatherings.

In response to the Cornell Seven case, we came together to reflect on sexual violence, misogyny, silence, and our responsibilities to one another and to those harmed.

We are making this statement public because we believe accountability cannot remain a private conversation among men. We want to make visible our commitment to interrupting harm and cultivating a culture of tenderness, care, and responsibility.

This statement reflects what we stand for and what we are continuing to practice together.
