Moving Rasa Discovery Cards
A hand-drawn, 33-card interconnected deck for developing relational capacity: to notice and discover new possibilities in how we relate to ourselves, other people, our surroundings, and the living world.
Rather than giving you answers or fixed meanings to interpret, the cards invite you to discover through your own experience.
Move with an image. Place a card somewhere in your home. Bring a question. Follow what catches your attention. Use your imagination. Notice what changes.
Where the Cards Come Alive
The cards don't end at the edge of the image.
A gesture in a card might draw your attention to your own hands. A doorway might change how you enter a room. A tree might invite you to notice the plant beside you. A character's posture might inspire a movement you haven't tried before.
Your body, imagination, surroundings, memories, and relationships can all become part of the discovery.

Three Ways to Begin
Every Discovery Card can be explored in any of these three ways.
One Ecosystem
Each card stands alone. Together, they form a world.
The Discovery Cards are rooted in an imagined Austronesianⓘ village ecosystem of paths, thresholds, homes, waters, fields, trees, gathering places, and people of different bodies, ages, and abilities.
You can meet one card as a companion, or explore how the cards connect across a larger landscape of relationship.
Six Lenses for Noticing
Some of the cards invite you to explore through six relational lenses:
Body — notice shaping, posture, action, and breath
Touch — notice sensations, contact, and relationship through surfaces
Mobilize — notice impulse, direction, pathway and momentum
Place — notice where you are and what surrounds you
Connect — notice relationship with people and other forms of life
Imagine — notice images, associations, fantasies, and worlds that emerge
The lenses don't tell you what a card means.
They offer different ways of noticing what becomes possible in relationship with it.

Relational Capacity Through Discovery
The Discovery Cards aren't about learning the correct interpretation of an image.
They are a practice for noticing relationships.
As you spend time with the cards, you may begin to notice how you approach something, when you pull away, what draws your attention, what your body responds to, how your environment affects you, and what changes when you try another way.
Moving Rasa calls this relational intelligence: the ability to notice and understand how we are relating.
Through practice, that awareness can build relational capacity—the ability to have more choice, range, and possibility in how we relate.
The cards offer a place to develop both, in ways that can continue beyond the deck and into everyday life.

Ready for Your Own Deck?
The Discovery Cards are currently in Open Build as we continue practicing with the cards, learning from communities, and preparing the First Edition for production.
