Discovery Potluck: The Debut of the Discovery Troupe

Our June Discovery Potluck at Prime Produce was the debut of the Moving Rasa Discovery Troupe. Jordan, Christian, Juan, and myself came together for the month before, once a week, to rehearse and develop scores to explore for the evening.

First, the Discovery Troupe invited everyone into an exploration of the Crossing Thresholds Discovery Card. Rather than explaining the card, we entered it together through playful movement, imagination, and conversation. The experience opened into questions about technology and the role it plays in our lives. How do we cross the threshold from our devices back into one another? Which relationships with technology do we want to carry forward, and which ones do we have the freedom to change? How does AI fit into all of this? Instead of searching for answers, we discovered new ways of listening and moving to these questions together.

Around the table, stories emerged naturally as we tasted one another's food and got to know each other more deeply.
