“I realized I wasn’t alone.”

Across Spanish- and English-speaking caregiver cohorts in East Harlem, participants used movement, drawing, storytelling, and conversation to explore themes grounded in the wisdom of three Discovery Cards. Their experiences helped shape the East Harlem Carebook.

"When we learn to play with the world differently, we begin to discover that change is possible." Over one weekend, we cooked for one another, explored living rooms and forests through Moving Rasa, safely learned at a shooting range, rode in race cars, and discovered that changing our relationship to the world can quietly change our relationship to ourselves and each other.

The Discovery Potluck at Prime Produce marked the debut of the Moving Rasa Discovery Troupe. Over shared cultural dishes, we invited the community into an exploration of the Crossing Thresholds Discovery Card. What began as playful movement led to a rich conversation about technology, relationships, and the choices we have in how we welcome it into our lives.
